Who else is for blues & rock n roll?
Cum on, guys.
Thats how metal started there would be no metal without blues Smile gotta admire that however I cant name any famous blues stars...
I'm not really a listener, but I love to play it with my band. We have a cover of Heartbreak Hotel from Elvis Presley and it sounds just awesome (we are a trio with double-bass (me), clarinet and accordion).
I also love to play jazz, you can really get into the music and enjoy it Smile

I played bass in jazz and that was the hardest genre I have ever played on bass they said bass is the most important and keeping rhythm was my fally lol
Muddy Waters is one of the greatest Blues Legends..I learned how to play guitar because of him!

Congratulations for your musical tastes, guys. It looked to me like every hacker over here now used to listen techno/rap/pop only. Glad to hear so(me rock n' roll music) instead.

Yes, I don't like metal, though.
Have you heard of opeth? If you dont like their heavy stuff they have an album called damnation and if you can get into it listen to deliverance I know you dont like metal but these guys are true musicians and if you listen to damnation you will know what I mean.

I know Opeth, but I still don't like them. I know of many metal good musicians, but I still don't like the genre. Of course, I listen to *some* heavy metal (say Ozzy Osbourne, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Guns N' Roses), it's just that I think most metal music is low quality (especially speed metal, death metal, grindcore and so on). I rather like rockabilly and punk music instead.
Sorry I dont mean to kram a style on you I just have respect for what started the style I like. If I could recommend your ear to one track in particular, a deep purple cover of soldier of fortune by opeth. Its the reason why I respect where my taste come from.

I like Deep Purple, but, they covered an Opeth track? Recently, didn't they?
