I got this idea when I read this thread about a sl torrent bay earlier an I think when people include a dl link to some thing they would have to be uploaded to dl.sinister.ly and then a trusted would have to dl this on a vm and scan it and then he could press a button to make the dl available to everyone and this way we could not only protect our members from viruses but also keep the download links alive for as long as possible instead of having them be deleted by larger file hosts after a week.

And before you say no one would want to do that, I myself and I am sure many others would be more than happy to monitor all the downloads and make sure they are safe

We have allready things like virustotal.com to scan on for viruses, in multiple antiviruses.
(it also gives you md5 and sha sum, to check if the file you got is the same as the scanned one)

Malware Analysis? Then you should know that scanners depend on signature detection; I can bypass any online scanner with msfencode alone, that's sad.

this is a fairly common idea on quite a few forums, This would make everyone less paranoid + if someone posted it & removed their post they could potentially get away with it.

Upload Analysis Team. I like the idea.
