We believe in certain things especially with regard to religion because these are handed out to us from our parents and it is a part of our upbringing. Only when we question the relevance of things taught to us, we start to think differently. Until that time we all believe what we believe is true because it comes from our parents and we believe that is an authentic source.

Religion is a very sensitive issue in many parts of the world. Wars are fought in the name of religion. Religion breeds enimity. The basic purpose of religion which was to have a control over human emotions through the fear of God. It has by its very nature turned against human values. People especially politicians have started using it for personal gain. Interfaith problems have increased and people are divided in the name of religion. I feel the world would have been heaven, had it not been for so many religious faiths creating confusion in the minds of people.
