why do you get out of bed everyday, why do you do what you do to stay alive? tell me, what keeps you living and moving around this world.

Hey, If we think about this, as the end of our life is "death" it would be insanity to go throw many things and painful moment to reach top then when that time come to enjoy your life. You will die and get buried under ground.
Overall, after thinking and thinking.. You don't really have a choice as "What is the purspose of life?" To get this answer we have to go back to relegious books.
As a Muslim, I'm getting my answers from Quran and Prophet Mohammad. The real purpose of our life is to know and Worship Allah.
The Qur’an teaches us that every human being is born conscious of God: “(Remember) when your Lord extracted from the loins of Adam’s children their descendants and made them testify (saying): ‘Am I not your Lord?’ They said: ‘Yes, we testify to it.’ (This was) in case you say on the Day of Judgment: ‘We were unaware of this.’ Or you say: ‘It was our ancestors who worshipped others besides God and we are only their descendants. Will you then destroy us for what those liars did’?” (Qur’an, 7:172-173)
Of course, and they will get rewarded in Jannah.. Those who knew Allah, those who did good in life, Tho who were good with parents and good with others, those who were saying right etc...

So let me take a stand as a Buddhist.
The meaning of life is something you have to discover and something you choose.
If your meaning of life is to worship Allah, just go and do it.
If you want to help other people, that's great.
If you just want to explore the world, that's fine too.
If you ask me, my goal in life is to stop crying and be free from the pain I feel every day.
Just choose your path and follow it. I think that's the reason for living.

If you enjoy what you're doing, you'll naturally find purpose. Whether it's hobbies or spending time with family/friends, do what you enjoy. Too often people measure their success/happiness based on the metrics of others.

nothing realy i am stuck home for amost a year becasue i got burnt out because of collage. slowly waiting to recover slowly waiting to die.
