Skid = Script Kiddie
My one line definition " A person who uses pre-made tools and exploits without any knowledge on how do they exactly work"
I guess the best way to avoid being called as a skid is to learn the fundamental concepts and theories working behind the working of any tool or resource you are using and contribute more to the community by scripting custom tools and tutorials, preferably open source ones.

My IT skills that I know perfect is SQL, HTML ,css ,wordpress, PHP.
coding skills that I know is Java, JavaScript and C#

Good point.

A true hacker does not require tools to exploit and circumvent security.
