Wow that is insane. Defcon said it was bogus and are putting their forums back up, but it's still for sale on the 1337day.

I don't think there is a 0day for vBulletin. Normally when there is a 0day, the vendor itself is compromised. In this situation, it appears Defcon's forum was the only target.

vB was compromised which is why Defcon shut down in the first place.

The exploit claims to target vBulletin. DEFCON downed their forums as a precaution. After confirming the exploit as unfounded, DEFCON put their forums back up.
