Just a quick tutorial I found, tested it and it works.
Remove the current skype you have (unless you already have skype beta 6.5)

Download this skype: http://download.skype.com/e9874bbd5770d9...upFull.exe
If link doesn't work use: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA12100...ws-desktop

After downloading sign in. Go to tools > options > Advanced > connection > and click the box that says: Allow direct connections to your contacts only. Which will allow other people not to resolve you.

Pal said it worked, all he had to do was restart his skype. Maybe you need to do that.

Nope. The setting is still unavailable for some reason.

Did you uninstall it the one you're using now and download the one above? Because I didn't see you go off at all when you tried.
