If you don't need real-time control, I suggest setting up motion detection and just leave it on recording. And every now and then simply go to the camera and get the disc. This will save you a lot of trouble
Staff will never ever ask you for your personal information.

u could always buy one of those small laptops like pocket size ones and run a pre payed internet USB modem hook it up to the cam (hide the laptop in a corner or a small box u can make) and than run sniperspy or just hook up vid chat type thing and hit record.
may seem stupid but i usta work for a company who had offsite set ups like this so thay could moniter there equiptment from a controll room maby 5-15KM away.
