The point of a spoiler isn't to downsize an image? It's main use (not even it's oringinal use intention lol) is to hide large images.

Exactly, I don't see any other point of installing a plugin to resize large images. If you want to resize the image then you can do it yourself using PS (Photoshop), Imgur, Gimp, or any other photo image editor.
