"project ideas" coding sub 04-24-2015, 12:25 PM
#1
Every programmer has that little stint of "fuck, I have no inspiration for my next project" every once in a while. I believe a project ideas sub forum would help remedy that, as well as get ideas from inexperienced programmers off the ground.
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

I'm a programmer and I've never had that little stint before. This may be a good idea for some though, however it might just become a dead section, just like many others.

I would imagine this section would die in a matter of hours, just to the point where it becomes similar to the assembly programming board. Not many people ever seek project ideas on forums, they're usually just inspired by things that you do, or things that you require.

New sections aren't needed at all. We already have so many dead sections on the forum and another dead one really isn't needed.
