RE: .onion link? #11
I don't really see anything wrong with having a .onion link, but i also don't see how it really improves anything either.

(Like noticeable changes for me atleast)

RE: .onion link? #12
Like others have pointed out, I don't think it is a good idea. There are a lot of negatives (such as the increased chance of spammers) and hardly any positives to balance it out.

How does it increase the chances of spammers anymore than somebody on a VPN/Proxy or TOR Browser? General Question.

Cloudflare does a decent job at preventing spammers from accessing the site. With an onion link, you won't be getting cloudflare.

I generally did not think of this. Thanks

If a user connects to a tor hidden service, the server sees it as 127.0.0.1(a.k.a localhost), because everyone would be connecting from the same adress, there would not be a way to tell if a user is using multible accounts and worst of all, because you could not ban an ip, anyone could just come, spam the forum until an admin bans the account, than they could create a new one and repeat the spaming.
Making a tor hidden service for sinister.ly is a horible idea.

That, and it is unnecessary. We allow people to use VPNs/TOR, but there's little reason to operate as a hidden service.

Spoiler:
I personally distrust TOR.

Why do you distrust TOR? TOR is not an individual or an organization...

TOR is literally fine as it is. Anyone who disagrees is 1.) paranoid 2.) using it wrong 3.) configuring it wrong

Just an example:

You can always choose your nodes.
