I find it hilarious that he is so far from the truth... I mean, over 20 forums? Not even close. Anyone could go back and check the number of merges in SLs publicly available threads, to see how ridiculously off the mark he is. He's just spouting utter rubbish because he wants to look big and clever.

That's why I didn't opt to join the conversation. I only jumped in (with synthx) when something was totally laughable. The best policy with these types of people is just to nod sarcastically and ignore them.

It's apparent his accusations are rooted in misinformation, as we have only performed around 5 merges. The majority of merges, we've actually had pretty good relationships with the owners, and you'll find that a few of them even stuck around (i.e. @Pirate). It's very hard to acquire, much less merge a forum without a good relationship, either. As for the members that were merged, there were many that didn't want to see their "home forum" absorbed by us, and decided to act out of line (we've banned plenty of people for this reason). 3way/@Nacho might be one of those people.

As for any attacks that may have happened, they were not performed with my consent, or by anyone that I'd consider a friend of the site. I am a very busy person and don't have time for petty squabbles, much less policing the thousands of members we have. There are plenty of members who have our interest at heart, but might do things that I don't agree with. I find it very hypocritical for him to judge others on their actions (at least on the basis of morality) given how he's behaved on the forum and elsewhere.

Pretty sure everyone knows, but we never really adopted IRC as a means of communication.
