Believe it or not, Cold War actually isn't too bad. I've been playing it now going on 3 weeks straight, and it's actually somewhat enjoyable.

If you like nostalgia and used to play Halo, maybe try out the Master Chief Collection?

WWII, Modern Warfare, and Cold War are all solid. Played Beta for all 3, but haven't bought Cold War yet.

WWII, Modern Warfare, and Cold War are all solid. Played Beta for all 3, but haven't bought Cold War yet.

MW and CW are definitely solid, but I found WWII to be slightly dull.

For console, I don't know, I haven't played in a while. But for PC/cross-platform options, it isn't new, but there is a new season happening that is epic in Destiny 2. It's F2P with the ability to buy the season pass for more rewards and quests/missions, so it's always full of new things to experience. I started playing in the House of Wolves/Crota's End expansion and it's been my favorite for a long time. Also Sekiro, Shadows Die Twice is great, and Everspace 2. Shadows: Awakening, Outer Worlds, Hollow Knight (obviously!) and Subnautica are some honorable mentions.

WWII was pretty good for what it was. Equipment/mechanics were equivalent to 1935, with the exception of them adding stuff like reflex sights. Lacked the personality of their other games.

In my personal opinion, Cold War definitely does run better than Modern Warfare by a long shot. Both are still very solid games. WWII just had no appeal to me whatsoever.
