linux distro for auto wifi hacking 10-08-2012, 01:22 PM

Hello,
I had this idea of creating a distro that would enable a pc to operate as a WLAN access point (with open access - no wep/wpa) and then log every activity as well as username/password.
I had found one, but i do not remember the name of it...any ideas??

backtrack can be used for easy wifi hacking but it's multi-purpose. reccommended anyway because backtrack kicks ass

Ubuntu server would probably be your best bet to be honest although any distro would be able to handle this. Backtrack due to its nature and tools/service's installed on it is relatively insecure and probably not the best choice

As Distro you can use Kali Linux and for auto wi-fi cracking use reaver - fast and simple
