yeah the site was conceived and maintained by Cryo, of NetBSD fame
and to my knowledge it's the only active OG LiveJournal-like site in existence, so basically a remnant of a bygone era that is early '00s, with an active userbase.. albeit much less populated now; but as an archeological site it's priceless
