I like both iOS and Android. For the people that say that iOS is for stupid people because, it is indeed a lot more user friendly, jailbreak iOS and you will have a blast with it. Its fun to fuck around with iOS. Android in the other hand is had a lot more freedom. I would like to get a iPhone because it can be bent to have other features when you jailbreak it, and it has a bigger community, while the Android, doesnt have a big community like iOS does.

I have both, and I can't really say I prefer one over the other, because of the simple fact that they both get the job done.

One might have a better speed or another stat better than the other, but the other will always have the same.

Whereas iOS is clearly not object-oriented, with the primary language for apps being Objective-C.

Android is superior in enterprise applications because it's relatively easy to get root access, you can program for it on any OS, and you have greater control over low-level component.

This is a dying thread but nevertheless I want to express my opinion:

Neither. I use both but on different devices, android on my phone and iOS on my tablet. It's really just preference, for me apps look really good on the iOS side and also if you're the type who does not tinker much. However for customization purposes, it's hands-down a win for android but I really much prefer it on smartphones than on tablets.

Im surprised that on a "hackers " forum theres so much love for ios, im 100% android and from a hackers/geek point of view its so much better.
For example i have a version of kali linux on my nexus 7 , you can root android and change/hack the whole system, overclock and so on.
Also theres so many good custom roms out there.
i hate ios.

Android for me to. much easier to modify, change around and work with. I find iOS very user-friendly, but that's not what I like.
