Some players prefer to play bots rather than real people, either to practice or because their connection and/or experience level doesn't allow them to compete online.

I think people just use bots to boost ego/troll, right? Like if you're not a person that gets their fun making others upset I legitimately don't see the point in using bots at all. I'd be curious to know if there are other reasons!
