It's a simple equation: "What you put out, you get back In".

It's not "what" you say, but "how" you say It.

People get offended because there are just some pussies who actually take what people say over the internet to heart.

1. You didn't even word the quote correctly
2. This isn't the correct context for that quote

What fucking teacher has ever said "think before you post"? I know you tried to adjust it to a forum environment and all, but it just sounds retarded like that.

Yes I did, because I'm not referring to any quotes or cliches. I've simply posted my thoughts based on my very own opinion.

The context based on my opinion of how I word It Is correct. As for the context against the quote, I couldn't care less because I'm not referencing that.

When people always complain about other people being sensitive, the only thing they are really doing is being hypocritical as they are whining and being "sensitive" theirselves. Some people will push back against your edgy humor and sure ok, they may be sensitive. But are you not sensitive for complaining about how all the sensitive ppl are annoying and don't get your brand of humor? If you are so insensitive then why do you let these people bother you so much?

There's a difference between giving out what you expect to get back and just plain disrespect for another human being. Unfortunately humanity did this thing called evolving and socially, we place value on how we communicate with others and how we make people feel. While I think there is a higher sensitivity, it's related to expectations in our social circumstances, it is drummed into us to be respectful and politically correct.

Also, I don't want to be someone who is disrespectful to someone because they were to me, just to justify their actions. I don't give it out and don't see why I should have it handed out to me. I don't want to put up with it and I don't see why I should. What is even the point of being like that? There's no justifiable reason for it.

I totally agree with this, but in all seriousness, I doubt Primitive genuinely cares. I get the feeling he likes to wind people up as he's a cheeky bugger.

Just there, @"Saya" was trying to say something meaningful. Whether right or wrong, the intention was to be meaningful. How did you respond? "Good time to insert some quote you heard from your elementary school teacher."

As I don't know you, I can say that, that certainly sounded like you were being an asshole. People are sensitive, and hypersensitive, but regardless of how sensitive they are, sometimes people can't or don't want to put up with your shit (not just yours, anybody's. Not trying to target you specifically, not in this sentence anyways). People respond in different ways, so some people get offended, others may say "fuck you, we're done talking", and some may not respond at all.

so i guess the lesson to be learned is to learn how to manage one's anger

If I interpreted @"Stocking"'s reply correctly, that's not what they were trying to convey. Yes, people are sensitive, and some need to learn how to roll with the punches more effectively, but nobody's blameless in these kinds of situations.
To bring up an old quote from every teacher I've ever had, "think before you post." While it may seem stupid and unnecessary, taking that 5-10 seconds just to reflect on what you're putting out for open interpretation to a fairly large community could save you a lot of grief and backlash.

Which teacher did you have that said think before you post? Curious.

ITT: Should @primitive be banned?

Spoiler:
Blatant disrespect/flaming is generally warned, but minor bouts of sarcasm/rudeness are generally ignored.
