This has made my night, It's hilarious. The second Image on the site Is even better.

I'm at a loss as to why China Is actually taking this seriously. Who's next, Humpty Dumpty?

I'm just waiting for the internet to retaliate by comparing him to more fictional characters. Watch as China blocks out the whole planet.

Also, you're right, the pictures just get better in the article xD

Good comment, In a way It Is reflective of China.

They way they're heading, It'll almost get to that point (so to speak).

Quite possibly. I'm struggling to understand why the authorities think these kind of actions will produce anything but a bad image of them and a potential backlash in the future. I mean, they literally are ridiculed for these little things. I understand that I am looking at this from a Westerner's perspective, but I'm also considering this in light of human nature. People generally want freedom in their lives, and will likely fight for it when things go too far.

Heard about this a while ago and with China's suppression of the image it has only spurred the image and the story to go more viral and I believe someone even started a reddit on it.

This is a ridiculous overreaction.

But then again... They already banned like half the internet...

Absolutely so.

To Implement a ban based on cartoon characters (that are obviously fictitious) for the sole purpose of human resemblance, Is quite embarrassing. As It turns out, the joke Is on China.
