Whats a good anime show for someone who has never finished or watched much anime.

Hmm, obviously based on personal bias towards the story and attachment to the characters, I think Sword Art Online (the original season/series) is a good place to start. You could also try watching Kaidan Resutoran. Its more of a kids horror anime, but I loved it when I started watching. Hope some of these helped. You could also try some other threads about this. There's a ton
