I need to add repositories to my ubbuntu via synaptic package manager such as backtrack, blackubuntu,backbox and other linux based on ubuntu. any help?

Note : I tried to install backtrack on my laptop but refused to install I tried the latest 32 bit version.

The other ubuntu foresincs version are based on ubuntu 10 which doesn't use wifi unless you download and compile the drivers. I use ubuntu 12

what is the problem when you installing the BackTrack ?

When I tried to start the dvd it showed the installation pannel and when I chose installation it shut dodwn the laptop:oO:

you can install the Backtrack menu on the Ubuntu then ,

unfortunately it didn't start the scripts it only opened them
