AFAIK, IIRC:
Group leaders are moderators to their own group sections. Moderators are for specific sections. S.Mods are global.

I am a mod and still have a rep counter, because my primary group is not mod.

Also, you can view mod's rep by viewing the profile of anyone to whom they've given any rep.

Nah, I don't agree with this. I mean sure, I get wanting to voice your opinion, but at the same time, it could quickly become a case of a mod getting negged everytime they have to make a decision someone won't like.
