RE: cake #21
I love cakes especially if it is home baked and made by my mother. I prefer cakes prepared from fruits. Cocoa cakes will come second in my priority list but I haven't tried carrot cakes yet.

I love cocoa cakes because there are so many varieties in chocolate cakes.

Chocolate cakes with extra large portions of chocolate was my favourite until recently. On advise from my physician, I have reduced sugar intake to watch my weight. So cakes are a big no for me now..should try sugarless cakes if available.

I like chocolate cake with lots of icing. I like it prepared at home rather than ordering from cake shops. The next best is plum cakes. Eggless cakes I have tried but somehow doesn't seem to like it that much.

After this post, I'm heading off to the local mall for my weekly shopping, of which a nice (large) cheese cake Is on the list.

That'll actually be tonight's dinner.

Curiosity question: Do you happen tp get Victoria sponge cakes where you're from? I feel like they're an unspoken winner in the world of cake. Very simple, but just really lovely. My grandmother often makes one for my Birthday.

That's so sweet of your grandmother.

We don't get Victoria sponge cakes by name, but there Is an equivalent under a different title/manufacturer, of which I can't remember for the life of me. It's absolutely delicious - I could easily eat the entire 400g In one hit.

It's essentially just a nice sponge with some jam and cream inside, with a bit of icing sugar on top XD

By description, that's exactly what's available at my local mall.

I need a few essentials, so I'll grab one this afternoon.
