cPanel Certification! #1

I just received my first cPanel certification "L1: cPanel Base Certification:Sales" which is 1 of 2 certifications they offer online. Ive been a cPanel webhost for 8 years now and i managed to pass this test on the first attempt. It wasnt *easy* but it was passable without too much effort and no studying lol

Tried the second cert "cPanel Base Certification::Technical" but that was quite a bit more difficult. managed to get 29/34 questions before the test cancelled lol. (can only get 5 wrong out of 50). So this will probably require some actual studying.

Any ways, after these 2 certifications you can only take the subsequent tests in person at their offices.

Any one else a cPanel provider? Have 1 or more of these certs? I only just found out they even existed... but i thought id give them a shot. Just something else to add to my resume lol

For the most part they do. They also offer through certain datacenters and hosts with massive amounts of servers.

That said, these certificates are for people running the servers with WHM. eg if you worked for host-gator support youd probably go through this training/certification process. host-gator clients would contact host-gator support with any cpanel/hosting questions problems. They wouldnt go directly to cpanel. cpanel provides support only to license holders.

The sales certificate is for sales people and basic level 1 support. The technical is more like level 2-3 support. the on-site tests are for like, the hardcore network admins, cpanel plugin developers, etc...
