botnet questions #1
im looking for a point to start to get deeper into botnets. its not completely new to me but there are some questions...

1. security:

how to avoid tracking/"troubles"?
does a bulletproof host, and a vpn + tor connection for the panel do the job?
how to get maximum security?

2. crypter:

where to get an private encryption for the bot?
are there auto-update services for the stubs?
how do i ensure to don´t get detected by AVs for a maximum time period?

3. bot:

which bot to buy?
where to buy?
is there something important to know, when buying a bot?
i don´t know the pros and cons of the most bots out there... information pls Smile

4. skills

which skills are needed to make my own bot?
is it better to buy or to learn to code by my self (in the middle/long term)?

thanks in advance!

i am still practicing the english grammar, did not need it for years, pls correct me if i am wrote something stupid...

edit: i already read the whole RATs & botnet section. Qs are stille there... answers would be very nice Smile

RE: botnet questions #2
1. All those things will work but security wont really matter as long as you don't have like 100k bots.
2. Just but a non .Net crypter and get one with no dependancys .
3. HTTP bots cost alot, but smokeloader if you can find the seller but if you can't find it get barracuda HTTP . If you are going to use IRC use insomnia it has a botkiller and alot of other features. Most of these can be found on HF.
4. You need no skills at all, just being able to upload on a webhost or build a bin.

thanks for your answer!
ok until 100k it will take some time...

my problem is where to buy a crypter. i get no answer at all when i try to buy a crypter. there are a lot of skids out there, which are just active in some forum and then they are "trusted" and the ppl will sell them their stuff... regarless if they are stupid or not.
thats why i m asking my questions here and not in HF.
since the "botnet helpdesk" did not answer my Qs via PM, its nice to see someone was able to answer.

ok i will check barracuda http and insomnia, smoke loader seems to be a bit expensive for a first project. and i wont be able to buy it, because nobody knows me... -.-
i saw andromeda already cracked somewhere... and its andromeda some ppl recommend, but there are honeypots and a tracker, right? is it a bad idea to set up andromeda at first?

no, i mean the skills to code a bot from scratch, not to just upload an existing...

1. There is no such thing as maximum security, but what you have suggested should do the job.
2. Dependancies mean almost nothing... All windows computers come with .NET. You aren't losing anythihng.
3. Andromeda is good.
4. Just be careful and tread carefully...

RE: botnet questions #5
1. VPN no logs would be fine
2. Styx , Robo should work. Crypt services are cheaper. If you buy a crypter, make sure it's a crypter where you 're fud by stubs($)
3.Depends what you want it for.
4.No skills needed really

1. VPN without any logs, should be off shore. Get hosting from ecatel. There are a few others that don't give a shit about hosting botnets but rather keep that to myself Smile.
2. Not into the crypter scene as I haven't touched a botnet for a while now. Though get something without dependencies. Ignore the people who say it means nothing. From what I've seen .net doesn't come with all versions of windows, and if it does not everything is supported. To stay undetected by a majority of AV companies update your files constantly (which means crypting and using what ever update feature your panel has, some don't and I don't feel like going into that).
3. Depends on what you're looking for. If you're a beginner try and http bot, irc is out dated and not the best to secure. I'd try a cracked andromeda or if you want something that is a no brainer to setup go for dirt jumper. Just upload the files and run the setup, and you're done. It lacks features except for DDoS which are decent. Though you won't get anything good really unless you pay for it and that depends on what you want. Though for banking and A few other activities get citadel, it isn't cheap but you can purchase modules that will automatically crypt and update your files through a certain period of time.
4. None. Though coding your own bot may be better, for example advertisement and email spamming bots are not so commercial because most people make it themselves. If you have a good bit of money buy a reputable commercial bot without dependencies. (This means don't go to HF and buy barracuda which sends information in raw text do the panel).

i already got a VPN, without logs, shared ip.

ok i checked out ecatel, seems they offer dedicated hosting only.
wouldn´t be shared hosting a bit more anonymously?
what about santrex?

styx looks nice. 20$ / file is ok for me. but how long does it stay FUD, if i dont do anything stupid? days or weeks?

i will try andromeda first, after some time of spreading i maybe want to sell bots or send some emails...
but i dont want to do CC things.

this autoupdate-module on citadel sounds good, what does the package cost and where to get?

where to start to code my own bot? i simply lack the knowledge to code a bot, but would be great to learn.

*sigh*
Citadel is over 2k and it's a banking trojan.

If you're selling bots you're going to need a spreading methods and or an exploit kit.

You won't make a bot don't bother. You'd need to learn to code first which doesn't happen over night then you need to learn how you would go about making the bot. Including the panel, then you need to know about the type of OS you'll be targeting.

RE: botnet questions #10
yes, found some infos about citadel... sry for asking Wink
3000 $ for the "VIP package", the auto-update module sale is stopped atm.
but i dont care... this bot is not the right one for an 1st project in my opinion, maybe later but banking is not the thing i want to do.

what do i do with an exploit kit? upload to webspace, leading noobs click links that installs nice stuff on their PCs?

that was my question, which skills are needed to code my own bot. answer: no skills Wink
i think i dont worded this correctly.

knowledge can be aquired over time, in which language are the most bots coded in?
