please reccomandate good laptop

Not sure if this would be a popular opinion here, but since the M-series chips came out for Mac laptops, it's hard to find a better deal than a Macbook Air or entry level Macbook Pro for simple editing. I used to buy windows gaming laptops for processing power, but the build quality is terrible on most models these days and they just don't last, are loud, and hot.

If you can deal with MacOS, it's hard to beat.
