School's IT can only do so much with out completely locking you out. Not laughable only doing their job, You can elevate your own user privileges to admin real easily with net groups at most educational facilities. I mean if your going to fuck up a computer best thing to do is erase the HDD and just force them to reinstall the OS. Like most places its a simple command or click of a button and turning the machine back on so it checks with pxe.
