Trayvon Martin was a known drug dealer ( http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c8c_13381...comments=1 )

He had already been suspended from school for having a bag with "resin". There are also PLENTY of photos of him online actually using drugs.

Trayvon Martin had just left a 7/11 were he bought a Watermelon Arizona tea and a pack of skittles
These ingredients are used to make a common street drug drink. You take Arizona Watermelon drink and Skittles and then mix it with OVER THE COUNTER cough medicine (Robitussen and similar brands) which turns it into a very potent drug called LEAN.

Trayvon Martin was a violent individual
Facebook info/texts between him and friends. Discussing the purchase of illegal firearms. Picture of Trayvon with a pistol. Messages from his friends asking him when he's going to teach them to fight.

Why didn't a lot of you know about this? Because the judge ruled that Tray Tray's violent past was irrelevant, but allowed the prosecution to talk about Zimmerman's "MMA training" (shadow boxing at a MMA gym).

The night Trayvon was shot George Zimmerman had started the neighborhood watch to protect his community from future burglaries, which they had a lot of issues with. Trayvon was walking in a gated community that he didn't belong in, in the dark, in the rain. Who wouldn't find that suspicious?

Travon's dad lived in that gated community... and just because he was a drug dealer doesn't give Zimmerman the right to dis obey a police order to stay in his vehicle.

Guess who disagrees: The jury.

Well I guess god has a plan for everyone.

I can't really disagree with that.

The issue at hand in this case was:

Did Zimmerman kill Martin in cold blood?

On that count, the jury is correct. The prosecution could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Zimmerman had needlessly killed Martin. Through all evidence presented it does seem that Zimmerman shot Martin in self-defense once the altercation began. So the jury was correct and just in finding Zimmerman NOT GUILTY.

That's not to say Zimmerman was in reality not guilty of lesser charges.

The justice system works, based off evidence and not emotional and biased reactions, it was not proven beyond a reasonable doubt. In the end, I would rather 100 guilty men walk free than 1 innocent man get sent to prison.

People that react the way they do makes me thank the Founding Fathers that they set up our legal system in this way. He would not have gotten a fair trial otherwise.
