Aksys Games and Spike Chunsoft announced on Monday that it will release Zero Escape: The Nonary Games, the double pack of Zero Escape: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (999) and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, on the PC via Steam.

Aksys Games and Spike Chunsoft also previously announced Zero Escape: The Nonary Games for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in spring 2017. The PC release will be simultaneous with the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita editions.

999 will be updated with HD graphics and English and Japanese voice acting.

Aksys Games released 999 for Nintendo DS in 2009 and the sequel, Virtue's Last Reward, for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita in 2013. Virtue's Last Reward already features both English and Japanese voice-overs, but 999 does not.

The third game in the series, Zero Time Dilemma, shipped for PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS on June 28.

I remember playing the first game back in 2010 or so. I recommend anyone who plays visual novels to give this a try, if you haven't yet. It's somewhat similar to Danganronpa if that tells you anything.
