what's your opinion on reality TV shows and people exploiting the media to get attention (which is pretty much what I'm talking about, except on YouTube instead of TV)?

I cannot handle the thought of TV reality shows.

From a viewer's standpoint, I don't understand what's so Interesting watching a bunch of people talking about themselves and their surroundings. In terms of people seeking attention from such shows, although I oppose It, I've seen quite a few people gaining celebrity status by making their position known publicly.
