How do you guys feel about online dating? Dating sites? What about relationships forged online?

Prior to my current girlfriend, I was adamantly against long distance relationships. Now, I only dislike online dating to an certain extent. One issue with online dating, is that there's no replacement for being with someone physically. Disloyalty and cheating are always a concern. You might only get to see each other a few times a year. It can be challenging.

That being said, I've been dating Jiggly for a fair amount of time and we'll be celebrating Christmas together this year. We purchased tickets and everything is set up. You can meet some pretty awesome people that you might not otherwise. Airlines exist and nothing's impossible. It's also pretty easy to meet in person nowadays, regardless of if you're both on a different continent.

I think that if you meet someone online and something clicks, you should definitely try dating them. There can definitely be problems, though.

Well, it depends. In relationships like these, both people have to make sacrifices for them to work. I'm not made of money, unfortunately, and we were originally going to split the cost of her ticket. Without a doubt, it's a lot easier to make things work if you're affluent. However, I'd argue that wealth isn't exactly required. With that being said, you could also meet someone in your area, or a couple of states away.

Sadly yes, personal matters caused me to leave for the summer, but I did know she was coming to see you. Looks like I'm going down south for Christmas.
