Your Opinion.... 07-19-2013, 01:27 PM

So, here is the question: Do attractive people have advantage over those who are not?
My opinion is this that, indeed no, people who are more attractive do not have more advantage. Life throws problems over everyone regardless of how they look. Attractive people are not more successful. Confidence comes from within. I've seen as many "pretty" people with emotional problems as I have seen "ugly" people with the same problems.
I have a friend who faces the same problem. She has an attitude like this that: "I'm ugly already, so why try anyway? Look at all these cute successful people." This is the root of the fights we have and eventually it all came to this: " How can you know? You don't face this problem. Try being in my position." And hence like this our friendship came to an end because I was too "pretty" and had "no problems".:headbash:. Yah, right! . I'd say try living with teachers expecting everything from you.
So, in the end it all comes to the old saying:
Beautiful people with cute smiles sometimes have problems which no one has and smiling is just their way of covering it up. I don't think any of the top composers got to where they are because of their good looks. Being a pretty boy/girl ain't gonna help if you can't even make the music sound right.
Sometimes people are beautiful. Not in looks. Not in what they say. Just in what they are.
Give me your opinion on this. Do you think that attractive people have an advantage over non-attractive people?
