Well, even though I use Google Chrome, I would hardly call it a "must have". It really depends on what you are going to focus on with your browser, Maxthon Cloud, Firefox and several others are just as good or better than Google Chrome. ( Internet Explorer 10/11 is pretty good too )

I guess for me Chrome isn't a must-have, but I do prefer any browser over IE,

Yep that's about it in terms of programs that I'd need for downloading films and editing.
