After around two weeks I finally got my laptop back so now I can do stuff again

Mind giving us the back-story? What exactly happened to your laptop in the first place? I'm sure you're pleased to have it back regardless. :-)

The hard drive failed and since it was under warranty it was sent to an hp repair facility to get fixed

(Facepalm) Hard drives fail at random, it can happen to me again it can happen to you, it can happen to anyone. My laptop doesn't just break down. If it did I would have a Dell laptop

I mean I know HP is bad for that stuff but it can't be that bad.
