Browsing around the internet today through boredom, I stumbled upon something rather interesting. Beta applications for the 2012 Xbox Dashboard Update which has the following confirmed additions:

As part of this program, an update will be pushed out to your enrolled console(s) that will include select dashboard features including:

• Internet Explorer on Xbox
  
• Recommendations
  
• Pins to customize your Xbox dashboard
  

This is quite interesting to me. For years now we've all been wondering why Xbox wont catch up with the criminally compete-able PlayStation 3 and add in a Web Browser for Xbox Users, but they never did up until now! This is really exciting and truly sets the bar against the PlayStation 3. So I've applied for the Beta and I've been accepted! I'm now just waiting for my product code to get it downloaded, I'll be doing a review / preview video of it as soon as I receive it to show this remarkable update! I was getting rather tired with Xbox, and this is putting me back in the fight for Xbox!

Although I'm shamed to see that they're adding in Internet Explorer, and not a choice of browsers. That's quite a big downfall, as we all know how terrible IE is.

I have this on my Xbox. The IE for it isn't that bad though.

I think it's horrific to be honest. I really don't like it at all, it's just extremely annoying to use.
