I'm an Xbox guy myself, but I hate the new Xbox coming out. They are moving away from gaming and making it entertainment. If I wanted that, I would buy a Roku. Not to mention the numerous limitations, the anti-indie developer attitude, the mandatory Kinect + plugged in, always on. If I wanted to be told how to use my system, I would hire a babysitter for myself. I'm buying a system, not renting a service.

P.S. PS4 is going to require Plus membership in order to play online.

It isn't JUST entertainment now. That is just what they revealed at the unveiling. It is still an extremely powerful machine capable of running many, many games. There is a reason Call of Duty and Halo, as well as a bunch of other big games will be coming to the One.

Personally I'll be getting another Station, I switched from Xbox a long time ago, I still miss the community and the party chats etc. But the community has developed and those days are gone, so I just want a system to play games and Sony have definitely focused on the gaming side of things. The Xbox One however, it's primarily focused on entertainment and sports channels that I don't give a shit about...
