Would you ever commit murder? 07-13-2013, 12:20 AM
#1
In my philosophy murder is not wrong depending on the circumstances. I can ask the person to stop threatening me and if the person doesn't then I have every right to defend myself and if the person never stops then murder is the only way. If it's on self defense yes I will be able. In the case that I was bored and need to destroy somebody? No I will not.
Since somebody mentioned the feelings involved in the choice of taking another's life. I do not have moral responsibilities anymore than an animal so I do not care if I kill somebody in self defense. In the case of me abusing somebody then I could be tied up morally to feel regret or question my choices. I had no reason to destroy his life unless it was on a vengeanceful act.

Under certain conditions, I wouldn't have had a problem with taking someone elses life. If it was in self defense, I would have been able to kill someone and I most likely would have done it if the stakes where high enough. I also would have had little trouble, murdering someone that is purely trash and wasted in life. I am not talking about people that are unable to move, speak or anything like that, simply because they aren't trash or un-useful by choice, also not everyone of them are un-useful either. I am talking about a person that no one cares about, a person that is pure trash to everyone and is cruel beyond anything. I've never felt remorse towards an action against another person that I have comitted, as they were justified by the means of that action.

Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.
I live by this. I don't intend to needlessly kill anyone, ever. But if the time arises and the need to do so exists I will exercise that option.

In your case OP, it wouldn't be murder in self defense but man slaughter. While I don't condone murder, the psychopathic traits we've received as a result of society's murderings have definitely furthered us as humankind.

I'll only murder someone if they were endangering / trying to kill someone else, or myself which as Harvey said it would be a variant of Manslaughter, I would still have trouble killing them by the emotional side, knowing that their family would never see them again and I would be responsible
For no reason, I could never do it.

Just to think that I never again see my children, unless the three were killed by someone, in this case, I would kill the killer... And know that the mot***fuck** would suffer before dying...
