World of Warcraft: Shadowlands (Releases Today) #1
Shadowlands will be released 15 hours from now, at 3PM Pacific Time. For those looking to level quickly on release, be sure to check out Azeroth Auto Pilot.

Quote:Blizzard has confirmed that the new WoW Shadowlands release date has been set for November 23, 2020, in the United States.

But while the World of Warcraft development team has confirmed that WoW Shadowlands will be rolling out on November 23 in the United States, the new expansion will be going live in most of Europe on November 24.

For gamers in the UK, the WoW Shadowlands release time has been set for 11pm GMT, on November 23.

Meanwhile, gamers in locations like Paris and Berlin will have to wait an extra hour, technically leaving the launch happening on November 24 in those regions.

As ever, it will be worth keeping an eye on the official World of Warcraft social media feeds, as there could always be last minute changes.

It's a shame it's releasing on a Monday. At least they'll have staff on hand if anything went wrong. I'm sure it will be fine though, given Blizzard's track record. I really wish I could delve into this expansion, it looks like it's going to be good. Somehow, I'm more excited about this than I ever was about BFA. Is it just me on that one?

I haven't been able to play as much as I want, but the expansion has been great so far!

Blizzard reports Shadowlands is outselling all of their previous games, including Diablo 3:
Quote:With numbers to back that claim up, Blizzard reports that Shadowlands sold through 3.7 million units on "the first day of launch," which beats out every other game, comparatively. The publisher notes that it bested its own record of Diablo III, which hit 3.5 million copies sold on its first day back in 2012. Blizzard states that these numbers were obtained from "sales and/or downloads, based on internal company records and reports from key distributors."
