Working on a new avatar. #1
So, as you may know, I recently changed my avatar back to an old gif that I found on google. I do like the avatar that @"MesaGFX" made for me, I just wanted to either have an animated one, or one that I made myself. I found a nice wallpaper that inspired me a bit, here it is:

I like how it goes from a mountain like background outside of the triangle to a city on the inside. So, I was wanting to do something with a triangle, but I thought Synthx wouldn't fit right, so I decided that im gonna just do a circle avatar instead. Here it is:

Yes, I know it isn't centered with the canvas, but it will get cropped.
Let me know what you think of it. I have that white circle which I am using just to remove the background from outside of it I enabled the black background layer so you can see the circle, which I will remove before export. I will do a circle crop of the image when I'm done. Thanks in advanced for your feedback!

Looks nice!

How do you like Pixelmator? I use it for most non-vector things. It's nice, but I find that the UI feels cluttered when doing something with large images. I wonder if the floating windows can be snapped to the sides...

Thanks! I love Pixelmator, although I do wish I had Photoshop. The UI does get cluttered especially on this small Mac that I have. I don't think they can be snapped to the sides and stick, but I know they can be moved around.

Find two images put an fx blurr on the first one and put the second one behind the first one then find a font that looks like paint use that for you S then using the same font but smaller put ynth center the first image then place text where it looks odd.

P.s you can use anything for the first image aslong as its smaller then the second you can even do some graidents or color mixes if you want.

How to make this in a few easy steps.

If you're "skilled" you can do this in a much better way then i explained but you know the way i said is easy and quick and anybody that knows how to drag images and type can do it.

So, upon setting it as my avatar here, I noticed that my name is a bit small, but I really like it.

Yeah, the middle circle is pretty small.

I'd say to cut some of the outside of the outer circle, and maybe blur it so it doesn't look weird if it's really cut off.

I just made the middle circle bigger, and made the text inside bigger. I like how it is now.

Interesting work! I liked the first concept a lot! Though Circle helps with the username so I can see why you swapped.

I really like the circle design too. I'd be tempted to change the inner circle image cos I feel like the textures don't flow 100%. However, that might be more artistic differences than anything so maybe don't change it xD

I just realized something

You should make your username color a bit lighter, it doesn't stand out a lot, a lighter color would fix that.
