why would "these people" have acces to this woman's bank account, amazon account etc. when all they did was hack her Facebook?

now thats scary. crazy the info they trust facebook and google with, no wonder theyre so willing to give it to whoever over the phone. i was working in a store that had an ipad for our pos system. a scammer called one day saying he was from microsoft and our cash register was reporting viruses on it. so i kept him on the line while i worked and acted like an idiot, "windows key + R, whats that mean?" after 15 or 20 mins, i finally told him "hey guy, we arent even running windows here, were on ios!" then he yells at me, about wasting his time. like, you called me at work, youre wasting my time. eh, it was a slow day anyway. the longer i talk to him the less time he has to scam more inexperienced people.
