The winners of 21st Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize has been announced via Asahi Shimbun's Morning newspaper on Tuesday. The nominees were chosen from the works serialized in 2016. The presentation ceremony will be held on May 31 at Hamarikyuu Asahi Small Hall at Tsukiji Tokyo.

Grand Prize: Hana ni Somu (Fusako Kuramochi)
New Work Prize: Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu (Haruko Kumota)
Short Work Prize: Yomawari Neko (Kaoru Fukaya)
Special Prize: Osamu Akimoto (Finishing 40 Year Long Serialization of Kochira Katsushikaku Kameari Kouenmae Hashutsujo)

Instituted in 1997, Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize is an annual manga prize awarded to mangaka or their works that follow the Osamu Tezuka manga approach.
