Windows Not Booting! #1
A lot happened to get to this point and I'd like to say part of it was my fault.

My dad got mad at me and unplugged my PC. Once he was done he plugged it back in and I booted into solus when I started it up. I forgot the error message but it required me to run system startup. I still haven't learned that I should make a system restore point but that was my fault. Later I found a trouble shooting page. I did everything and after that I got a Missing Operating system message. I automatically booted into my live cd because I couldn't boot into Linux or windows. I tried accsesing my windows partition but I was greeted with this error.

Now I attempted to reinstall solus to try and fix it. That luckily worked but it installed grub. When I write "exit" in grub it says it can't find a boot device even though SATA 0 and Sata 1 says installed. I need to accses it as I have some programs on there that I need, my paypal password, my gmail password and some programs that I paid for.

What OS are you running?

You've mentioned "I tried accessing my windows partition". Is this the manufacturer's OEM recovery partition? If so, what method was used to try and access It?

I don't know for sure what the error message is yet, but I'll look into it. What I do have noticed though, is on some cases when people had startup problems because the power was cut off, is flashing the BIOS. That's just the first thing that comes to mind, but remember, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it at all.

Unsure if this would help but try out a Windows PE and perform chkdsk /r or chkdsk /f on that partition if visible.

Hmm. Id backup your linux os and try to restore the windows boot record, and see what happens. Get a recovery disk and run bootrec /fixmbr

Bad boot sector, common error when windows is not properly shut down, sometimes a reinstall works, sometimes the fix @"Skullmeat" said works and if all else fails time for a new hard drive.

Have you attempted repair from a Windows installation drive? You can usually fix the problem from there.

You should probably run some tests oj the hard drive, it could be at fault. Be aware of the possibility that you may need to get a new hard drive.

On an unrelated note, how do you like Solus?
