Personally i like Windows 8 a lot, the thing is that if you don´t have a touchscreen laptop or pc you can´t get all their benefits and it just will be a bad win7 copy

For those wondering, the windows pattern:

Windows: Good
95: Bad
98: Good
Me: Bad
XP: Good
Vista: Bad
7: Good
8: Bad
9: Good?

What I'm really hoping for is the first 128 Bit OS in Win9. It seems appropriate since DDR4 ram comes out this month leading to larger module sizes, and they've been confirmed to have been working on making future OS's 128 Bit for around 4 years now.
Me: Bad? Me is worst!!!!!

Believe it or not. I still have a desktop that runs Windows ME. I haven't used it in probably 7 years, but the last time I used it, it worked fine. It was slow, but it worked.

Another new version already? I feel like it's really fast. Can they finally make an OS that doesn't require third party software to make it suck less? Start8. More specifically, why didn't they release Windows 8 for tablet and Windows 8 for desktop? The forced full screen for so many of the config menus and swiping with the mouse is so annoying.

A 64Bit OS if written properly and not hobbled will support 16TB of ram...
Are you thinking you will use more than 16TB of ram? Ever?

=P~ 16TB of RAM

Windows is completely gay. Windows 8 allegedly had an NSA backdoor according to Snowden. Why use Windows when there are better alternatives? *Hint Hint* Linux.

I'll still be keeping an eye on Win9 though.

I like Windows 8 (well after 8.1 update 1) a lot however the lack of a "real" start menu is quite annoying at times, doesn't bother me too much though. Only reason I am on 8 really is because jignig Visual C# 2013 didn't want to install on Windows 7...
And as long as the Adobe suite (mainly Photoshop) isn't available for Linux I won't be using it any time soon (GIMP is godawful).
Pretty excited to see what they'll do with Windows 9 though.

Until I can get all of my games working on Linux I have no interest in it.

I couldn't bring myself to remove the hood classic above, enjoy it as a time capsule.
