Windows 7 - TCPIP Settings in Registry (Help Request) #1
Hello my bea-uuuuutiful SL peoples!

So I'm really bad when it comes to remembering what I change in my registries and I'm horrid when it comes to backing up anything!
Now I changed my reg files in Win7 so that I would have next to 0 ping change when streaming CS:GO and whatnot but I incidently changed it because I'm a moron and have no idea what it was at!

I know I googled a ton to figure out what anything meant but since it was working so well for almost a year I had forgotten everything, do you guys have any tips?
I recently went to stream and it magically jumped to 250 ping which before while streaming it would maintain a steady 10-50 ping depending on the server.

Note: Right now I am checking if it was my OBS settings that were doing it, I don't think that that is the case however I will let you guys know one way or another.

Note 2: I got some nasty ass malware that I'm almost 100% sure I got off my PC and Modem (there was a worm in there too, nasty shit.) so that may have fucked up something? Not sure.

Thanks for any help guys!

EDIT: LOL WAT it was my resolution fucking me up!? Wow, didn't realise that that fucked up ping, if your ping is fucked up while streaming change your downscale settings.
Regardless though, I would still like info if you guys don't mind ^_^

I would say the higher rez was much harder on your upload and thats what caused your ping to spike. If you got hit by a worm they sometimes make changes to the registry but I can't tell unless you can give me a sample of the malware.

If you have not done so I would still run a scan with Malwarebytes and make sure your AV is still a good one. If its free I think BitDefender and Avira are the top two this year.

EDIT:
To answer the first part of your question. I don't think its possible for you to steam with next to zero ping change unless you have one monster of an internet connection. If I take a screen shot with Puu.sh while playing Leauge my ping will spike from 39 to 160-200 untill the uploading is done. If you have the upload speed for it you should be able to stream with around a 20 - 30 ping difference. That all said I have never streamed and never even tried to. I dont know the necessary Upload/Download speeds to hold a stable connection for viwers and to keep the game playable for you playing. I did find this after a small bit of googling and this should let you know what sort of results you should be getting while streaming with your spec's. https://obsproject.com/estimator

Thanks for all of the tips!
The reason I can stream with only a 5ping var is due to my internet speed, in Alberta (where I live) I pay around $100/m for 100 MB/s and then I bitched at my service provider until they gave me 10 MB/s upload (because that's what I pay for and they ignored me, dicks) so I have pretty danm good speed.

But yeah it was the system toll from recording at messed up resolutions that was killing my PC, +rep for helping anyway!

I did do a scan with Bitdefender and Malwarebytes (that I both own) and there is nothing anymore, sadely I don't have a copy of the malware and cannot send it.
