Windows 10 is a pretty poor OS all in all. My favorite trick was uninstalling it. Is it your main OS?

I didn't think I would find anything in this list that would be actually useful to me but I'm surprised that I did. I've had issues with Windows search not finding my files accurately since day 1 basically of having Windows 10, though I never actually bothered to search up a fix because manually going to find my files was always easier. Tip #5 fixed the issue for me though.

I've had (and still do) the very same Issue- Windows 10 does not seem It Identify files accurately when using It's search feature.

Thanks for your feedback on tip 5. I'll give It a shot.

I tried desperately to give Windows 10 the benefit of the doubt, being a long-time Windows user.
Personally, I love customizing and changing source codes to better fit my needs but it was just too much of a load to bother with after at least 100 re-fixes after every annoying updated.

So I'm strictly Linux now and I don't regret it at all.
I'll use my knowledge of Windows to help people if they need it as it's a good skill to have, but personally I'm never going back.

In terms of customizing Windows 10, this tool does an excellent job.

You can remove components, add features, strip It down etc.

I've never heard of that before, that saves a hell of a lot of time and fussing around.
I'll have to give it a try on a VM later, cheers

You're welcome.

It's very similar to how nLite for Windows XP and vLite for Windows Vista/7 work, but a lot more powerful.
You won't be disappointed with WinReducer.
