I think celebrities should consider the state of security at these types of events. It seems that the security is far too passive, and both events like the VMA in 2009 with Kanye West snatching Taylor's microphone, and this event where Will Smith was able to assault Chris Rock, show that there is a lack of protection for these important figures. In both events, security or event organizers could have come on stage to try to prevent the situation from escalating further but they just stayed put where they were. I think that celebrities shouldn't attend these types of events anymore if there is a lack of adequate security measures and someone can walk all the way on stage and hit someone and then go sit back down and stay at the event.
