Wii U Sales struggling #1
Well, here's some more news about how the Wii U is-a failin'! I mean, the Wii was a great system for fun and exercise, but now they are trying to turn it into a gaming console, no-no-no. I honestly think that Nintendo tried to hard to get something new out there, and this is the outcome. The amount of sale's the Wii U has gotten has fallen like a rock 3 stories up, FAST!

Here are the statistics:

Quote:Nintendo's console sold just over 57,000 units in January, managing to increase that number to over 64,000 units in February

Quote:At the time of the launch the Wii U sold over 3 million units by the end of December-----but sales have since fallen significantly as the console has suffered from a lack of new releases.

My 2 sense in this is that Nintendo pulled a Microsoft, they refused to change the price, so sales went down because people thought it was WAAAY too pricy, or just didnt have the money. Then on top of that, there are NO NEW RELEASES being put out for the system. And then on top of all that stuff, Nintendo also not making any new GAMES(other than those childish pokemon games that kids have outgrown, and they now play COD).

Doesn't surprise me.
I find the console boring and stupid.
I returned mine the day I bought it.

It's not really bad.
There is just no point in getting it.
Buy an Xbox instead.

I have a Xbox, PS3, and a PC, do I need anything else? Wink

I wouldn't even bother getting one. Most of the Wii games wouldn't interest me.

I understand why you would buy it for you kids or for family purposes. But if your a gamer then there is no reason to buy it. The only reason i bought the original wii is to homebrew it and turn it into an emulation counsel for my Tv.

I'm not surprised honestly, the Wii looked awesome when it came out, and I bought one thinking it looked great and it was just, well it kinda sucked. It was decent for exercise and stuff like that, but it really wasn't very good as a games machine, the problem in my opinion, is that they already damaged the Wii's reputation as a games machine too much, so now nobody can take the Wii U seriously as being for anything but things like exercise and kids games.

I couldn't bring myself to remove the hood classic above, enjoy it as a time capsule.

The Wii U was honestly just a fail itself.

"Oh I know, we'll take a Wii, and give it an extra screen pad thing!"

To be honest, they really should of stopped the production after the first Nintendo-Wii because Kinect and Playstation Move has beaten it and pounded it to it's death.
I got bored of the Wii, consoles and PC is far superior.
