When a forum is invite only, it lowers the quantity of members, but heighten the quality of its members and future members. This is a good thing, however its also a handicap as it makes becoming the forum with most members a lot more difficult. But it also makes it easier and more difficult to become the better forum on the web.

Someone with interest on joining the community will somehow get someone to send him an invitation, when this was a open forum I saw members that came here for a single post, program or leak and then never posted again...
