Why is the staff award removed from retired staff? 09-25-2014, 07:47 PM #1

So the description of the award is "This award is for becoming a staff member." This isn't for being a staff member now, its for becoming one at one point. I feel like members like BreShie who put in lots of effort deserve the award instead of having it removed when they stop being staff.
