RE: Why did you start hacking? 04-22-2014, 07:14 PM

Q: What drove you to the technical side?
A: Well, I got hacked when I was 12. Wanted to learn all about it, so I started doing all that stuff from the day after it happened.
Q: Why did you continue doing it, and why haven't you stopped?
I don't know. Something just drives me to take control of everything. I am a control freak when it comes to technology.
Q: How long did you spend your time getting to the skill level you're at right now?
I was hacking when I was 13. Back then I was a script kiddie. Some of you may still recognize me as one now. But If I am still a script kiddie, then I'm trying my best to get out of the habit and start actually hacking. Not just RATing.
Q: Do you see yourself doing this as a career if not already, and do you see yourself doing it for a majority of your life?
Yes, I plan to go to a technical institute for computer programming. I've already learned VB.Net, now I want to learn a different language. Perhaps C# or Delphi.
Q: If someone told you that they wanted to start hacking, what would you tell them?
Don't be a skid, and try to learn from the best.

I've been hacking for 5 years, but it's an "on and off" thing. I hack, then take a couple months off, then come back. I don't get it.
